2.4 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
(a) The Platform and our authorized service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, SDKs, device identifiers, and other similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”) to enable essential functionality, secure and optimize the Platform, and provide, personalize and improve the Services. These technologies may be first-party (set by Visualible) or third-party (set by analytics, advertising, social media, or other partners) and may be session-based or persistent; they may store or collect identifiers, preferences, device and browser information, behavioral and usage data, and other technical information that helps deliver and tailor content and features across devices. Cookies are used to remember your preferences and login state, facilitate navigation, maintain shopping carts and other session information, detect and prevent fraud, diagnose and fix technical issues, measure and analyze usage and performance, and enable personalization and targeted or interest-based advertising and marketing.
(b) We may allow third-party providers to place and read Cookies on the Platform to provide analytics, advertising, social features, and measurement services; these third parties may collect information about your browsing activity across multiple websites and devices and use that data for their own purposes in accordance with their privacy practices. We will seek and record consent for Cookies where required, provide an accessible mechanism to withdraw or change consent at any time on the Platform or browser/device settings, and maintain verifiable records of consent and preference choices to ensure accountability and to respond to user requests.
(e) Cookies and related data may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose (for example, session Cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent Cookies remain for a set period determined by the specific Cookie), and aggregated or anonymized information derived from Cookies may be retained for longer periods to support analytics and service improvement. We do not knowingly use Cookies to collect Personal Information from minors; if we become aware that we have unintentionally collected such information, we will take prompt steps to remove it.
(f) Cookies and similar technologies may result in the cross-border processing or storage of information. When such transfers occur, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information and limit access to authorized recipients. We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect data collected through Cookies, but no security measure is absolute; users should exercise caution and manage settings where they wish to limit tracking.
